We conducted a retrospective cohort study to estimate risk of acquiring symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 on aircraft, to inform contact tracing and infection control efforts.
We identified co-passengers of infectious passengers on 18 England-bound flights from European cities up to 12/03/2020, using manifests received for contact tracing. Infectious passengers were laboratory-confirmed cases with symptom onset from 7days before to 2days after the flight. Possible aircraft-acquired cases were laboratory-confirmed with onset 3-14days post-flight with no known non-flight exposure. Manifests was merged with the national case management dataset (identifying cases, onset dates, contact tracing status) and the national COVID-19 linelist. Contact tracing notes were reviewed to identify non-flight exposures. In this prospective study, subjects receiving hemodialysis were recruited from two outpatient dialysis units in urban San Diego and rural Imperial County, CA, between March 2018 and April 2019. Key inclusion criteria included (1) receiving thrice weekly hemodialysis for ?3?months, (2) age???18?years, and (3) able to walk with or without assistive devices. All participants wore a Fitbit Charge 2 tracker for a minimum of 4?weeks. The primary outcome was the number of steps per day. Each participant completed the Physical Activity Questionnaire, the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ)-9, the PROMIS Short form Fatiedium for the gender differences (cohen's d = 0.57) and small to medium for urbanicity and dialysis/nondialysis day (d = 0.37 and d = 0.33, respectively). We found no association between physical activity and self-reported depression and fatigue scale. The majority of participants (62%, 28/45) found the Fitbit tracker easy to wear and comfortable.

This study was conducted between March 2020 and September 2020 in four allergy centres. Demographic, clinical features and mental health status were evaluated in QP (from March to the beginning of June) and RTNP (from June to the beginning of September) applied by the government. The 10-point visual analogue scale (VAS10) was used to define the severity of HAE attacks. Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales-21 (DASS-21) and Fear of COVID-19 (FC-19) scale were performed to assess mental health status.
139 HAE patients were included in the study. In QP, median attack numbers and median VAS10 scores were 5 (min-max 0-45) and 6 (min-max 0-10), respectively. HAE attack numbers, DASS-21 stress, anxiety, depression and total DASS-21 scores, and FC-19 scores were higher in QP than RTNP (p=0.001, p&lt;0.001, p=0.001, p&lt;0.001, p&lt;0.001, p&lt;0.001, respectively). However, there was no difference in attack severity scores between the two periods (p&gt;0.05).

This study aimed to compare the effects of losartan and amlodipine in patients with primary HTN and COVID-19.
In this randomised clinical trial, hospitalised patients with COVID-19 and primary HTN were enrolled in the study. One arm received losartan, 25mg, twice a day and the other arm received amlodipine, 5mg per day for 2weeks. The main outcomes were compare 30-day mortality rate and length of hospital stay.
The mean age of patients treated with losartan (N=41) and amlodipine (N=39) was 67.3±14.8 and 60.1±17.3years, respectively (P value=.068). The length of hospital stay in losartan and amlodipine groups was 4.57±2.59 and 7.30±8.70days, respectively (P value=.085). Also, the length of ICU admission in losartan and amlodipine group was 7.13±5.99 and 7.15±9.95days, respectively (P value=.994).
